we invite you to think again on how to handle your own shit! 💩

did you know 🌊 water flushed down make up the most (roughly 30%) of indoor water consumed? easily over 10 liters per day per person.

the world have lots of working options today, and while riding the water 🐯 tiger we want to experiment building the wildest compost toilet.

in practice this means right now: + very well selected location + a small human shelter + about 1.8m squared + meant for easy transportation + wild variety of matter + near trees, far from garden + at least 100m away from water sources + a big hole on the ground + crouch instead of seat + always fully covered crap + zero smell or flies crucial + near a shower or bidet + illustrated instructions

we intent to focus on the poop handling instead of the composting. how long it will take to compost becomes secondary here. first the convinience to use and maintain.

definitely not for the faint of heart used with too much city hidden maintenance.

instead of taking out the compost of the toilet, we envision moving the toilet to the next area. it may even cycle and circle around a few of the same spots.

as any experiment, everything can change! to enforce the main point: building the wildest compost toilet.

we have already experimented with everything here, except the shelter, at ahoxus.org/paradise since 2020 feb.

• all the code uses #fupl (or latest agpl)!

• gleek.io and https://graphviz.org/docs/layouts/dot/ seem like a couple of good references for #freeterm, the next step for using troffhtml as a web app #offlinefirst.

• everything already made #mobilefirst (it makes all the difference for myself #mobileonlylife).

in short, we currently have 2 #fediverse tools, plus the static website with #troffhtml. the moonshot challenge will to eventually integrate everything into 1... imagine no script talk, write, email, and static: all together with git (or ideally some new fupl simpler versioning) mixed up in 1 thing.

a quick checklist for my ideal fediverse tool today (which i will edit and update with time):

• what no fedi tool (that i know) currently do, first of all: be #mobilefirst focused on #mobileonlylife.

• work #offlinefirst but much better than husky which often complains that it is offline.

• do everything writefreely do, especially the simplicity, script less view, and url slugs.

• editing posts will create new fedi posts and link them all together, plus offer a way to see the version difference.

• mix it up with pleroma, so i could also use it like mastodon for conversations, reactions, and comments on posts.

• allow me to post videos and offer a tiktok like experience, at least on the gui/ux side at first: insanely quick buffering, swipe to go to next video or user account, etc.

• writesonic, the first one i stumbled upon, which offers a nice timeless trial, and the best results i've got so far in my tests.

• rytr, which looks very promising and offers a forever free account, but on my brief tests i couldn't really get anything satisfactory.

• ink for all also offers a forever free and limited account which works mostly for trying it out. you will need an account on google, facebook, or microsoft though, reason i didn't try it myself.

they all offer very similar services. you should pick whatever i keep getting error to start it up on my last step.

finally, if you want to get serious, you might consider the one premium service...

• jarvis had to change their name to jasper and indeed the premium plan will probably work better than everything else today. you do have to pay use a credit card to try it though, for just 5 days.

ps: up to this day, we haven't used any ai to write anything in ahoxus.org not even for inspiration! 😱
